Meljac is a French manufacturer of luxury switches, sockets and electrical wiring accessories, founded in 1995 by engineer André Bousquet on the premise that a switch "should not be only functional" but "seductive."

Meljac's founding range ("the eldest of the Meljac ranges"), inspired by 1930s Art of Living; chamfered-edge solid brass plates with the brand's signature teardrop ("water drop") toggle lever, push buttons and reversers.

Contemporary, straight-edged solid brass range built around an oblong-based toggle, offered in three lever designs (Ellipse, Seattle, JMA) or a push button. Available with or without visible screws.

Designer collection created with Marc Newson: remodelled curved-edge solid brass plates with a slender flattened toggle and a flush concave push button, contrasted against a glossy black base. Screwless.

Solid-brass collection developed in collaboration with architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, featuring an innovative undulating (wave-pattern) surface finish with hand-finished patina. Straight edges, no visible screws.

Seven solid-brass "art switch" models created with artist Estelle Matczak (founder of Studio Pluriel), applying torched-patina and etching techniques to Meljac plates.

Colourful 4mm tempered-glass collection with chamfered edges, coloured from the RAL colour chart rather than the standard metal finish library; switches, push buttons and reversers.

Collaboration between Meljac and crystal house Lalique: brass switches with a custom-carved crystal "Vibration" motif that extends into a matching engraving on the brass plate.
