The brand was formed as a joint venture of Fraipont SPRL (Francorchamps, Belgium; a precision-machining workshop previously known for bespoke luxury lighting under the name 'Yvoir de Fraipont') and CEA SPRL (Belgium; an electrical-equipment company).
