Basalte is a Belgian manufacturer, founded in 2008, that unites high-quality design with intuitive smart home technology ("Basalte Home"), producing keypads, touch displays, a design remote, a thermostat, a motion sensor, sockets and walkway lights that are precision-machined and hand-assembled in Belgium. Its minimalistic product range has won over 60 international design awards (Red Dot, iF Design Award, Henry van de Velde, German Design Award, among others).
